The Ego Is Like a Governor and When You Put Your Ego Away
There's always more to give right we never quite max out our ability even if you're the world's fastest mylar. The theory behind that is that your brain almost acts as a governor saying hey we're getting really close to redlining and putting ourselves in danger from overheating or running out of fuel so instead of getting to that point which we know is coming we're gonna start to shut you down early. Steve: When you're able to put your ego aside essentially it's like you're freeing yourself up from failure you're freeing yourselves up to perform.
