How Far Back Should We Go?

I was like, wow, directing is like an actual job. It's not just like movies don't just pop up out of nowhere. There's one person who's sort of sharing their vision. So I became really into the idea of becoming a filmmaker,. took a class in high school, made something probably so bad. And then decided that I wanted to pursue that in college, went to Wesleyan in Connecticut - they have a great film program there. But getting outside of the place where you're from or where you normally live, it can become a great inspiration for telling a new kind of story.
