This sermon was originally preached at Bethlehem Baptist Church on January 31st, 1988. John Piper: In order to love deeply, you have to hate something deeply. He says God hates human pride more than anything else in all the universe. The only reason any of us should ever hate anything is because we love something that's being ruined or destroyed by what we hate.
