Are the People With the Strongest Concerns About Immigration the Most Secure?
Anand Gopal: The coalition of support for leave was very broad. It was comprised of people who felt economically left behind, and also had concerns about emigration. But it was al so very heavily comprised of these people that felt economically secure. And the interesting thing then is, well, does that mean that levelling up's not a good idea, or does thatmean that inequality across the country needs to be resolved? That's different. We just need to think while that levellingup a gender needs to appeal to people that have economic security and those who don't as well.
