The Greatest Life Hacks in the World

I can't remember characters feeling so vivid. I really loved Silver Room Bliss by Meg Mason, but that was like her second or third novel. And I think UB Mother is her first. It's essentially the story of a young girl who lives in the UK who falls pregnant quite unexpectedly to an Aussie guy after not knowing him very long at all and finds herself quite lonely here. So it feels very much like when we read Seeing Other People by Diana Reed, you can really put yourself there. Even though we're based in Melbourne, you know Sydney and you know Sydney summer. She also has a piece from the New York Times which she says had a 'very new year energy'
