The Cold War - The Beginning of the Cold War

In 19 forty seven, congress established a national security council to advise the president on foreign policy and a central intelligence agency to gather intell and act on it. This new agency would be different from anything that had existed before then. It was authorized to carry out not only duties explicitly pelled out by law, but such other functions related to intelligence affecting the national security of the united states. And they did a good job: They could take action anywhere on earth with the president's approval. But for now we're going to talk about my most recent book which is called zoe punches the future and dickocks are back.
