The Importance of High Fidelity Recording
I lived in Berlin starting from 1999 and ending in 2008. I essentially moved there with nothing in the bag and a lot of ambition, but no clear way to achieve much of it. We had a really amazing spot up the road and I had a couple of different studios. Mine were in a bit more grim areas and definitely there were workspaces and very, very small and bizarre. My second spot where we did a lot of the multiply stuff was really insultingly small almost. It's amazing to me that we managed to conjure the economies that we did in that room. Not only did it get me out of my comfort zone, it really expanded my horizons. As you can tell
