How to Pricing Paintings on Time
I generally the framing cost works out at around 10% of the price. If it was any higher than that if you sell it through a gallery then doesn't you've lost your margin. The painting I sold which was a very large piece on paper, the framing was 70 pounds. And I feel like 700 pounds would have been reasonable for that as a framed painting at that size. It's still the hardest thing for me of all this is and it's because I think the other thing is you have to work on your own mindset about money. What you feel about money affects what you think others will pay.
