The Heroine's Journey
The heroine's journey is much more complicated because her traditional archetype that she has been encouraged to identify with is old and antiquated. Her first step is to say, you know what, this very ancient antiquated notion of what a female is, is not going to apply to me. I'm going to be creating my own path on my own journey. And it brings us away from that traditional path in the very first step.
