The Freudian Subject Is Never Sufficient to Self
The classical subject is always divided, undergoing as it does the effects of fading. Freud begins his book on group psychology with the now totally truistic statement that doing individual psychology is always already doing social psychology. Autonomy doesn't exist because the very medium of human experience language is not of your own making. In order to be even neurotic, forget about normal, whatever that means, normal just means average.
