The British Left Is a Bit of a Communist Problem

The USSR for many years afterwards did emphasize the common anti-fascist front um to and now you can sort of understand doing that for propaganda purposes but I think for many people on the British left they bought into it. The fact that that was reiterated for so long kind of got a lot of people inside the British left combined with the legacy of social democracy to buy into this idea  that Britain is somehow anti-fascist which is just not true. So you still get people like getting angry about rightly angry when they say they see like British ministers going over and shaking hands with the Zav saying well didn't we fight against fascism?
