PyTest - The Test of Linearity

PyTest has a plugin called report log that allows you to kind of record metadata as you're going along. So there's several things happening at once here, and maybe if I could just take a step back, this test that you've got is the test of linearity. No system is perfectly linear, so there will be some sort of margin for error. We don't have a specific spec on this, particularly linearity test. It's a quick one to run because it takes only a few minutes. And it can give us a sort of a first eyeball of things working as we expect them to do.
