The Evolution of Bitcoin

Bitcoin has reached levels that a lot of us who were looking at it really early on never thought it would achieve. I expected Bitcoin to fail because if you've looked at 20 and they all failed, you expect number 21 to fail too. But when it didn't, I thought it was incredibly powerful because here was a way to fix money for the internet and assets for the internet. For most of human history, we've had tons of financial systems. Today though, we really just have two financial systems. Might even be that we just have one financial system now. So that's very weird. It seems like it would be quite cool forhuman freedom if we could opt into something else.
