The putative contribution of carbon dioxide to global warming is less than the margin of error for measurement of the effective water vapor. So we're planning on spending $2 trillion to remediate a problem whose magnitude is so small that it could easily be hidden within another measurement error. That's really quite something. No, I mean, it's caught the fancy of the political world. It has so many weaknesses because it ignores the fact that the whole picture of the greenhouse is misconceived.
