The Importance of Collecting Data
I think there's this great, and I think it was Google's latest diversity statistics. They had this one little quip that basically said, oh, it's really annoying that intersectional people exist because it made our stats hard ever run. And also, your experience is very, very hard to create a full story from them. So yeah, if we wanted to take this on, I think it requires collecting data. If we can create this kind of initiative when we start gathering data ourselves, this is so interesting.
