The System of Consensus

When slavery finally comes to an end, it's usually because enough tensions and difficulties have accumulated that couldn't be overcome. At a certain point, the accumulation marks his idea of contradictions becomes more than the system can handle. The American South still hasn't gotten over the experience. That's why white supremacy comes back in all of its hideousness over and over again. And we've noticed something. There's a lot of us and there's a relatively small number of you masters. Out of that difference, we can make a revolution and you're going to be gone.
