The Role of Politics in ESG Regulations
I'm often asked why ESG has grown so much in the recent year in Europe. Why have we seen all these regulations? It never boils down to individuals, right? But I think there were some very strong signals sent by the central bankers in Europe. People like Mark Carney at the Bank of England and Kristin Lagarde at the European Central Bank made it clear that actually on the mental risk pose a question. In other part of the world, in Asia, some central bankers have convinced about that.
