The Reckoner Series: A First Person Narrative
First person works because you add all of these nuances into the way the characters speaking and how they're interacting. And that needs to be in your dialogue when you're not in a first person narrative. It really for me always gets back to motivation. Sometimes I have noticed some writers getting annoyed with other people in real conversation, and I think it's because they expect people to be able to follow that script. We are going to have on the website a transcript of something that we call in theater, an A-B scene. This one is a three-parter, and you do not have to do all three parts, but if you want to, get ready.
