The Reckoner Series: A First Person Narrative

First person works because you add all of these nuances into the way the characters speaking and how they're interacting. And that needs to be in your dialogue when you're not in a first person narrative. It really for me always gets back to motivation. Sometimes I have noticed some writers getting annoyed with other people in real conversation, and I think it's because they expect people to be able to follow that script.
