The Importance of a Check Off Program
The check off is worth the time invested because in agriculture so often things just happen to us. We're just kind of at the whims of what other people decide until you get to the check off where we've pooled our resources and we can have an impact on infrastructure. Who else could do that for Kaiser family farms? I can't afford to, you know, provide the information that allows the Army Corps of Engineers to dredge the lower Mississippi. It's actually incredibly inspiring that we get to have such an impact on our own destiny.
