The Path to Appreciating People as Florescent Human Beings
Shiller suggests that if you're a cannibal, that is the way to appreciating people as flourishing human beings. He does say in the final letter when he's describing this kind of utopian aesthetic political state that people encounter each other neither as forces or as means to their ends nor as people who might treat them as a means to an end. They will encounter them as quote unquote free objects of play. This is kind of the, it sounds a little bit like the asthete version of a post moral existence and maybe even Nietzschean.
