Is There a Mental Universal Solvent?

All kinds of ideas, i guess, can become a mental universal solvent. Though, i would say be cautious of any lens that seems to explain everything. Sometimes we just start applying an idea to everything because it's really fun. And in other cases, we start applying idea, an idea toeverything because, wewe, we at least believe we're getting some kind of analytical use out of it. Yes, ydo i thinkth this argument? It certainly applies to evolution, very strongly, to evolutionary theory but it also can apply to even a hypothesis we've discussed in the show before.
