Bob Greene was asked to write a piece on the Unabomber's brother, David Kaczynski. The article got caught up in a bizarre publishing moment when Disney bought Miramax and co-owned Talk, Pretty Brand New Magazine. He visited Ted Kaczynski in prison after learning he had written a book from behind bars. After getting edits at the last minute that were "bizarre," Greene decided not to put his name on it.
