The Trinitarian Reference in Genesis
Genesis 1, 26 is a Trinitarian reference. I do think it's not a problem to see a Trinitarianreference when we read the scripture canonically. And I think Genesis 1, 26 as well as Genesis 3, 22 probably means that. So God is recognizing that something has happened to these image bearers. And they have gained a kind of internal experience that wasn't there previously,. And they are broken. And they should leave Eden to confirm the punishment to be administered.
