The Importance of Goodnight Moon

The New York Public Library maintained internal reviews of every book that was submitted to them. Goodnight Moon sold only a handful of copies before more or less disappearing from stores. Margaret Weisbroughn died only a few years later in 1952, following complications from a surgery.
