Touring in the Nineties?

When did the rabbit system, i guess, go? What was it like getting in turnmits week to week? Is it pretty similar to how it is now? I think sometime in the early eighties, maybe it was when the that rabbit system stopped. They even had tour school twice a year at some point. And then they had two chances at first stage for a while. And i think that stopped in 80. But meno, you gotin a lot more events as a rooky.
