The Limits of Compute for AI
Over the last 10 years, we went from basically on an order of magnitude level zero dollars being spent on Compute for AI. There's a limit to that, right? We can't get to trillions of dollars being spent because there's not enough money in the world. As the costs of increasing Compute rise so significantly, the incentive will be to put that money into other areas of research and engineering.
