It Takes a Village to Rake a Child
I think we are so confined by what we believe it's supposed to look like that we sometimes sort of miss the gifts around us who are there to make it possible. I have a woman in my life, Vicki, who I talk about all the time. Our lives would not function without her. She's another parent and sort of God parent and grandmother. It takes a village to raise a child. You need all hands on that. And anyone can sort of play that father role.
