A person can have trust because they can verify it because it's already the case for them. Because they're going into that affirmative mode of trusting, they are then willing to adapt themselves a little to the person who's trying to modify them. That's similar to the protocols that would be needed at all these interphases. And it leads to this other problem of, how do we stop ourselves from constantly being hacked by things that aren't what we want?
