CNN's John Sutter is the author of The Divine Commodity, a book about intersecting Christianity with consumerism. He says he was attracted to Jesus as a college student but that his biggest barrier in finding him was other Christians. If you don't have a church reforming itself and making healthy disciples, what are you going to do with all these new people that come in because they're looking for Jesus? "It does seem like to help Jesus, we've decided we have to give up on the church," writes Sutter.
