The Bifurcation of Faith and Works

I believe there was no distinction in any early Christians about works and faith. Faith was action, not like propositional ascent or something like right. I think the most important work that early Christian had was the profession of their faith and willing to die for it. That's a work. You can't bifurcate your faith from works. It's like saying you're trying to bifurCate my soul from my body. We have a bifurcation.
