Ed davis is a former psychiatric technician who now rides freight trains. He rode his first train when he was 19 years old, back in the early seventies. His new novel 'the last professional' will be released next week. ed and friends hitchhike from California to scotland for their father's birthday. They find out that they are not alone as other people have done it too.
