The Theology of the Body - Six Aspects of Aquinas' Teaching
The theology of the body is scriptural but it presumes many conclusions that Aquinas had reached even though John Paul never really explicitly mentioned them or talk about them. Voitíwa knew that when he was teaching at the University of Lublin in the late 1950s he taught St. Thomas straight from the summa. These are all basic, domestic principles but have largely now been forgotten especially in a lot of current discussions on marriage and the theology of theBody.
