There's too much cash in the financial system. Pension funds can deposit it at european bank, but interest is very low. So instead they lend that to people who have bonds and then use the cash to buy more bonds. But when you reverse all of this everything goes into reverse. Then bonds will start to trade cheaper; swaps become more attractive. And what's kind of going on politically in italy?
