The Story of a White Man Shooting a Dark Man

Ander watched as on the news, a reporter interviewed someone who had stopped being white to his boss. Ander explained his situation, which was not unique or contagious, as far as anyone knew. And he returned to the jim after a week off, and his boss looked him over and said, i would have killed myself. The next time anders went to see his father was on a day with some chill in it. He used the back roads, proceeding hesitantly, pausing and observing at intersections like a herbevore out of an instinct for self preservation before he moved.
