I think there's a built in irony. As you say at one point in your book, you know, Abraham Lincoln was able to rethink his situation and was able to to reframe is exceedingly difficult immediate circumstances because he was living in another story. I keep emphasizing reckoning with our past is sort of the first moment of spiritual timekeeping. And then when he says, consciousness of an ironic, ironic situation tends to dissolve it. Do that help? Does that unpack it a little bit?
