Fewer than 10,000 Indian bears remain in the whole world. A hundred years ago, their numbers were double that. Rising temperatures are causing droughts and making the dry forest disappear. What remained was only 10% of what it was centuries ago. The Indian bear played a fundamental role protecting it.
