"I've been asked to do this in order to help you remember. It's therapy," he says of recording a podcast. "We got several cats, the first one we got was a black cat that I think had been rescued from somewhere and wasn't very sort of happy." Her name was Cass, named after a Casserole dish because she would curl up in it when she didn't feel comfortable with human contact.
Usually when I talk to my brother on the podcast we talk about fairly obscure topics, like cult films, musical subcultures or skateboarding, but this time we chose a universal topic; pets. Listen to this conversation to hear James and me remembering the pets we had as children and discussing some issues related to keeping animals as pets.
