Are You Reluctantly Naturalistic?

I think that the religious impulse is in one sense of the word universal clearly not to the individual level but at the cultural society level, some kind of religious spiritual impulse is there. I was brought up as a graduate student that is very strictly to think that primates are kind of at the top of the cognitive and emotional hierarchy of non human animals so I really thought that I was working with animals who were profoundly different. So it's worth a search for primate and other animal roots for this and I do really see a lot of continuity. Franz devolve has written along these lines as well with the primate origins of morality or what might let her be considered religious impulse.
