What Do You Think of the British People?
The British people are very polite almost effusively polite and apologetic. The word sorry is used a lot even if there's nothing to be sorry about. And something I've noticed is especially in shopkeepers or people who are serving the public almost an obsequiousness. A sort of rubbing together of hands and bending forwards in a somewhat servile manner. But really aside from the cuisine and Margaret Thatcher I think of the Monty Python team and what a wonderful contribution to art particularly comedy. Oh man that sheep just seemed so much happier and fatter than in South Africa. They were a bit scrawny and a bit more robust. It's pretty spectacular.
