The Importance of Fighting
I'm deeply honored, that the people of Georgia have given me the privilege of representing them. What I've learned in the process is that we really have to fight and that we don't know when that moment will come when we can make a difference. After all, I was John Lewis's pastor. And he had no reason to believe he could win as he crossed that Edmund Pettus bridge. But somehow by some stroke of grace mangled with human resiliency bent the arc a little bit closer to justice.
