Those Eyes Are Just Straight Out at the Viewer, Aren't They?
We sometimes get this image of Rasputin as this big, heavy, ophish, lumbering sort of fellow. He was thin, he was lean, he was taught, and he had this energy, as you say. It came through his body, it came through his motions, it coming through the way he would move through space. Those eyes are freaky, even in those photos,. They are just straight out at the viewer, aren't they?
