I like to sit with a gaffron, do diagrams and have it really mapped out exactly what units we're going to use. But I mean, I think then on the day, you're open to what happens on that rehearsals. Some directors have a very strong sense of the way they want the scene to be played physically as well as emotionally,. Others will just let the actors do whatever they want.
