The Lawless America of Biker Bars in the Eighties
"This was the lawless america. This was the rebel yell," novelist Ned says of biker bar scene in his novel. Today we might think of these guys as old, graybeards who potter around on three wheeled harleys but not back then. These were dangerous men drugging, partying and fighting. "Biker seemed to come in one of only two sizes big and really fucking big", he adds.
