Foucault has a problem with each of these kind of three hypotheses that you know repression is something mobilized by power whereas Foucault wants to think instead how power multiplies things actually power explodes things explodes discourse brings things out into the open because otherwise if we are caught in a conundrum where we believe power to be something that represses represses or power conceals I believe Foucault would say we are missing our mark. We are failing to recognize that no such thing would exist rather we are operating at the level of the capillary right?
