The Future of Accelerators

We're not that interested in tiny little accelerators. We still want them kind of big so we can get to really high energies. The question is, can you stack these things up? That's where the technological struggle is right now. It might be in a couple of decades that we're ready to talk about building a LHC size or super LHC size particle accelerator.
