The wait list is now gone and Bard is open to the public. It seems like everybody has been paid to promote Bard. Some claim that Bard can't code as fast and some hallucinates even more than chat GPT. The chat TPD subreddit now has 1,597,000 members. Google also mentioned AI 143 times at their IO event.
