Why Doesn't Degrowth for the North Mean Deprivations for the Global South?

We see another industry coming to take our land from us and to exploit our resources. And what are they doing with all that energy? They're building in more walmarts, and they're building more a heinekin factories. So why does de growth for the north not mean deprivations for the global south or those who are even facing inequality here within the united states? You knowinot i really don't want to paint the d growth community with just one color,. because there are so many different ideas and voices and perspectives in this movement.
