Party vanguard isn't above and outside of the masses, but is in constant conversation with them. It remplies a huge faith that the masses can be developed into these professional leaders. The idea really comes out of mark's talking about the fact that the emancipation of the working class must be the act of theWorking Class itself. And so the next question is how does the working class one become conscious of itself, and then how does it organize to pursue its interests?
