Sydney Rigdon: Joseph's enthusiasm for United Order was probably also tempered by the fact that it failed miserably. "It isn't just a change of like a spelling error or a correction," he says, "it is a significant and meaningful change" The church walked away from United Order from law of consecration because they were not practicing what God had told them to do, Rigdon writes.
