Our friend and colleague, Chris Date, recently produced a video calling Drs. Tim Stratton and Leighton Flowers to task on using the LBC of 1689 and Westminster Confessions of Faith to establish Libertarian Free Will (as in opposition to Compatibilistic Free Will.)

The portion of the statement in question (as represented here by the LBC of 1689, chapter 9, paragraphs 1&2) state:
"God has endued the will of man with that natural liberty and power of acting upon choice, that it is neither forced nor by any necessity of nature determined to do good or evil.
Man, in his state of innocency, had freedom and power to will and to do that which was good and well-pleasing to God,2 but yet was unstable, so that he might fall from it."
